We are not just your regular Venezuelan Restaurant, we want to make sure we offer you the best of two different countries, we want to make sure you feel excited and wanting to try all of our dishes and drink items.
11 Degree North was created for the need to introduce Chicago to the most Traditional Venezuelan Dish: La Arepa!!
In 2017 without really looking for it we found an open place to fulfill this dream and bring some fun to the Lakeview Area. When we found this location we didn’t have a menu created yet, so we started working on the menu based on the surrounding people; that’s when we decided to fusion Arepas with some traditional American ingredients, and also make sure to offer the beloved Bagels and Biscuit to any customer that didn’t feel sure about trying a new dish.
Over the time we’ve been adding more items to the menu after listening to what our customers want

We make sure to have something for everyone, that’s why we make sure to have some Vegetarian and Vegan options in our menu added to the great fact that Arepas are naturally Gluten Free.
